Mish: A new chapter in our lives

It's been 38 days since I gave birth to a wonderful child. Time flies so fast and I can still remember the way I felt during my labor hours. I thought it wouldn't end, but all those pains are gone when I saw my little boy and hugged him for the first time.

A week before I was due, my OB-Gyne told me that my cervix is still closed and intact. I feel so nervous that I may end up having C-section which I never thought of. I walked 30 minutes a day and went stairs to have an easy delivery. I still have 1 week to make my cervix open and be ready for a normal delivery because I was having contractions which is a good sign. A week later I had my check up again and still my cervix is still intact. It made me feel so nervous because my OB-Gyne told me that if I didn't give birth that week she will schedule me for an induction. It will be painful and I don't want that to happen. On the same day, I'm having on/off contractions. I know I'll be giving birth anytime soon so I'm watching any signs of labor aside from contractions. The next day, I called the hospital to let them know what I've been feeling and the nurse told me that I was having early labor and should call them if my water broke already or having 5-10 minutes apart of contractions. What I did was walk and go up and down the stairs. 9:30 pm the same day, I feel painful contractions which is barely tolerable. I continue to sleep and decided to wait for my husband to accompany me to the hospital. The painful contractions come and go until I called my husband and asked him to go home already because I might give birth. he told me that I should wait for him until his shift ends 12 midnight, I agree on it. After an hour I called him again and asked to come home, again, he told me to wait for another hour till his shift end. He come home around quarter to 1 and we hurriedly go to the hospital. The time I got to the hospital I was 6 cm. The nurse told me to keep myself hydrated, walk and have a 30 minutes warm shower to ease my labor pain. As my contractions and labor progresses they decided to burst my water bag. We waited maybe an hour before my bundle of joy come out. The moment he come out and put him in my chest, the feeling was unexplainable. I feel so happy, relieved and blessed. All I wanna do that time is comfort my crying child and hug him.

My husband never left my side since we went to the hospital till I give birth. He'd been an assistant nurse (hehe..) and my birthing coach (hahaha..). Thank you so much Babe for everything, for being there and taking good care of me and our baby. God has been really good to me. He gave me a responsible and very loving husband and a little baby who brought so much happiness in our lives. They are my life. I'll be forever thankful for having a wonderful family. I'm lucky to have them in my life. I love you so much Babe and baby! I won't get tired loving and taking good care of you both. I love you both so much!

Thank you dear Lord,  for keeping my baby healthy and for my safe delivery. Thank you so much for giving me not just what I wanted, what I prayed for and needed but you gave me so much more that will make my life worth living. Thank you again Lord for everything. I love you dear God!

Mish: Unexplainable feeling

It was on my 16th week when I felt some bubbles on my abdomen. I've been reading a lot how does it feels like when the baby moves and positive, bubbles are signs of baby's movement. Then on my 18th week, I was sitting quietly, not moving at all, I felt a short wave of punch which happens thrice continuously. I'm sure it was the baby. I'm so thrilled about the way I felt. It's weird but at the same time I'm happy that I felt his movements. So every day I've been waiting to feel some punches again. Usually it happens at night where I'm not moving. And now I'm on my 19th week, an ultrasound has been done. Finally after 3 months I saw our little angel again. A tear fell on my eyes seeing my little baby. He keeps on moving maybe because someone's bothering him from his sleep for an hour har har!! I'm glad that after the ultrasound he keeps on moving and I really can feel it.

Thank you Lord, for making our baby healthy. Thank you Lord, for this wonderful experience and for our little angel where we can find our true happiness. Thank you for everything Lord!!!

Mish: Unexplainable happiness

We're officially together for 1 1/2 months, still I feel like dreaming and can't believe that it's really happening that we're in each others arms again. It's nice to stay late at night and to wait for my husband to come home from work. Seeing him smile fills my heart with overflowing joy and happiness. Throwing funny and inside jokes at each other makes me feel that love doesn't aged at all. We're like kids and I'm loving it! It feels like floating in the air and all I wanted was to be with him, hug him tight and watch him while sleeping because it might be blown away and realize that it was just a dream. Thankful it wasn't! Now, he just came home and brought me burger, fries and yummy chocolate shake from in and out (the best!), so love it!!!
